External Insulation Finishing Systems (E.I.F.S.) is a technology gaining momentum in the Australian building industry as insulation requirements continue to grow. The general principle of E.I.F.S. is to place insulation materials outside the structural components of the building to provide a more efficient defence against extreme temperatures. The outer skin of this insulation is a reinforced rendered surface offering a variety of textures and finishes.
